Well for one thing I don't get what's so weird about having a nanny for teenagers. It makes sense to me. It is pretty uncommon to do what you do. It is quite common for kids and parents to eat apart, but not at the same time. Like maybe kids eat at 6 and then the parents eat later at 8 or 9, which would be too late for the kids. You said you don't want to listen to them. That is kind of sad. Imagine if somebody told you that the things you say are garbage and that they don't want to listen? You may think your teens understand or don't care, but chances are they do feel kind of hurt that you don't want to sit with them, even subconsciously. I believe it is important to have family meals. This is where kids learn how they should act, how marriages work, what is good and bad. Just because it happened in your husband's house doesn't mean that's how it should work for you. Talk to your kids about it and tell them that you'd like to try eating together as a family. Chances are they may say they don't want you around but suggest doing it once or twice a week at first. When they bring up "inappropriate topics" that just shows they are rude and unused to being around you. Tell them not to do it! Say "I don't want to hear about this at the dinner table". They'll stop pretty quickly. I think if you try eating together you may like it and it will help your family a lot. ============================ Noise Cancelling Headphones| SEO Agency
