There was a video demo of MGS3 free with Playstation Magazine last month. It looks amazing! The video was the whole opening scene where Snake halo jumps from a plane down into a forest. Apparently its the best yet, so I cannot wait!

WOW! Metal Gear Solid 3 is AMAZING!
The Story Dr. Solokov is a famous researcher for Russia. He built the first rocket used for Space Travel and also helped design many tanks and weapons for the Cold War. He had become famous for his inventions. When the Soviets started storing missiles and nuclear weapons in Cuba Dr. Solokov was the one behind the design and research into the weapons. He was forced by the GRU to work on a brand new weapon, something that no country would ever have dreamed of before. In the early stages of the design of the weapon, American soldiers had captured him and taken him prisoner in America. The Russians needed Solokov and put all their missiles down in Cuba in return for Solokov. America gave in to the Russian demands. But the American government wanted to know what Solokov was working on and asked FOXHOUND to send in Snake to find out.
Although I'm still only a bit of the way through the game, it has so far been unbelievable. The graphics are amazing and everything about it is just SO realistic. You have a life bar and stamina bar. The stamina bar will decrease as time goes on and you need to re-fill it with food. Being stuck in the jungle you have to actually hunt for food using only a knife and tranquilizer! If you don't fill up your stamina bar, your aim and running speed will become worse. Plus, there is also a percentage bar for how well you are camoflaged. You have several different outfits you can wear in the Camo Menu. This will help you hide from enemies! You also need to heal yourself. As I type this Snake has a broken arm and several 'Deep Wounds'. You need to find bandages, splints and even knives to wedge out bullets that may be stuck in your body. If you continue to fight with these wounds you will become slow in battle and your health bar will stamina and health bar will rapidly decrease.
In true MGS fashion there are hundreds of breathtaking twists, captivating cut scenes and awesome tricks to test out in the battlefield.
All in all, it's one AMAZING game!

One more thing I forgot...Holding hostages. You can grab enemies and use them as human shields or interrogate them! Or if you really want to, you can just slit their necks...Not the cutest thing in the game but hey! As I speak I'm about to sneak into Sokolovs research facility. It's heavily guarded, but I've got a pump action shotgun and I can see a couple of barrels of napalm.

It is a beast of a game, you can have sex with this woman, but then you KILL her I've been playing on it non-stop since Friday afternoon and there's NOTHING like that in the game. It's all stealth! You must be thinking of something else...
