BBC are showing all the highlight acts of Glastonbury 2005 all weekend. There are a load of awesome bands so you guys should watch it when you've got a chance.
Elvis Costello - 8/10
Played really well. Load of classic songs and he was a great performer. Awesome keyboard player too.
The Doves - 8/10[/u]
Never been a fan but they were pretty good. They stuck to the more known songs which was good to see. Very good musicians too.
The Killers - 9/10[/u]
Best band so far. Great songs and also great performers. The crowd singing along to All These Things I've Done was spine shivering. Ace!
Bloc Party - 7/10[/u]
I'm not a fan of their music and they really didn't do anything special for me live. Still, they do have one great song which always sends a smile to my face. And they are very talented.
The Zutons - 8/10[/u]
Great band for this type of event. Loads of crowd interraction and they've got some good songs too. Dedicating a song to AC Milan was funny as hell. Would definitely see them live if they're in town.
Fatboy Slim - 10/10
Hate the music, but I've got to say that it was probably the most wierd live performance ever! Made the crowd were 3D glasses so that all the lighting effects looked to stand out. And he DJ'd from a suspended station.
The White Stripes - 5/10[/b]
Never liked their songs that much. But even so, they were played so out of tune it was hard to listen to them. Plus, Jack and Meg really aren't great musicians, it has to be said. Okay, maybe some ctachy hooks in there and you've gotta appreciate the fact that it's only two people. But crap is crap and crap is what The White Stripes were.
Keane - 9/10
Great songs and a great show too. Very lively and good to watch. As the commentator on the BBC said 'Great band for Glastonbury'
Kaiser Cheifs - 10/10
Damn, they were great! From 15 foot dinosaurs to jumping from the stage. Let's not forget the crowd surf from their singer. As the drunken fan said to the BBC, "He's one of us he is" Best band so far without a doubt. Total aceness!
Ash - 8/10[/u]
Very well rehearsed set with all the crowds favorites. As usuall it was well performed and had the crowd going from start to finish
Kasabian - 9/10[/u]
Great light show and they were also very lively. You could tell they were enjoying themselves a lot too. Much better than I expected by a mile!
Coldplay - 8/10[/u]
Swet songs and a sweet band. Chris Martin was having a great time and so were the rest of his band. Thousands of people were there for them too which is nice to see. Great way to end the night!
